Can I pause Littlebird or exclude apps?
Yes. You can pause context collection at any time, exclude specific apps from capture, and decide whether the app runs at startup. Nothing is collected without your permission. On Mac, Littlebird only works after you grant accessibility permissions yourself, and you can revoke them whenever you choose.

Ambient capture only works if you can turn it off without ceremony. You can pause at any time. Exclusions are per-app, so your journal app, your banking app, or anything else you name is left out of capture.
And if something slips through that you did not want captured, deletion covers it: remove the last hour, the last day, or everything.
